Well, at least it's comforting to know that his CS 371 is complaining all about the same things as we are... From some upper division folks and grad students (TAs- networking baby), I heard that Dr. VW has the same reputation with his CS 371 students and he came to class saying "I don't want to teach this class".. It might be quite true that he has a load on his shoulders but so do we and we're not getting paid.. He certainly could've said no to his load as we could've dropped the class by the 4th day if he showed up in class on time... :)
One suggestion we could make to him about grades is that he considers "all the people that have already dropped as the F and D students and let the rest of us who stayed in class pass!"
