am i way off by only using one foo for all processes. this way i don't have to store any foos but only keep a record of what processes have what foos. also there is no possiblity of running out of memory. if i'm wrong, i'm screwed.
i'm gonna smoke a big fat blunt after i turn in this damn project :P
