Well, you don't have to make EVERYTHING public . . . you can make just the verifyAVL function public if it was not so already . . . I think.

Also, I originally had the same problems you had. First, I had suspect code on the small output, and it turned out his grading comparator was wrong, as I posted earlier. If I were you, I'd recopy your grading dump from the website and try that to correct the suspect output there . . .

However, you are only 4 lines off on the robust test . . . and, I had that same problem earlier today. I was only four lines off, but . . . I knew it was right. I was just going to go to Van Wieren's office hours on Friday, but by the time I got home, it had corrected itself, and it said everything was perfect. So, I just waited that one out . . . if you think about it . . . how can you only be four lines off on such a big test case of 10's of thousands of foos? I'm sure it hits each case over 4 times . . . perhaps that is a grading script problem? And, I'm guessing that the fact that it changed by the time I got home, means he saw and corrected that problem?

Try resubmitting just the REQUEST and see if anything changes, you might be surprised . . .

Sorry if that wasn't helpful, but I tried. :)
