Maybe, currently, that human.html gives 2.5's to people that have turned something in and -2.5's to someone who turned in nothing.
I think he has that file in place so he can add his "human input" to the grading system. Basically, he can look through the code himself, and if he thinks it's not reasonable work or a trivial solution, he can zero it out or substantially lower the grade, etc.
However, I have a feeling that he won't have time to get to this step . . .
